Harsh Noise Bingo Battle is a championship of harsh noise improvisation and performance, where participants engage in fierce duels. They play on equipment which they may or may not be familiar with. The equipment is drawn from a common pool before each round by random. This way, participants have no preparation time and are under maximum pressure to impress the audience. The winner of each round is determined by a dB-meter that measures how loud the audience's applause is. The one who receives the most noise wins!
Here is a video from Kyiv Noise Fest 2018 in Ukraine, which the Harsh Noise Bingo Battle Champion 2017 (longest reigning champion of all time - 8 years!) attended bringing only a handful of patch cables and a power supply. Almost same concept. All other equipment is borrowed and revealed to him only at the start of the show and during it.
Kvindelig hosted Harsh Noise Bingo Battle in 2025 for the first time.
The concept was originally conceived by Eli Gudnasson (Noisebob, Gravhund, Den Jyske Harsh Noise Mafia etc.) and Dave Procter (Legion of Swine) in 2017.
The title was won by Mikko Mansikkala Jensen (Pol Mod Pol, Bureaucratic Bondage, Aalborg Noise Jihad etc.).
He lost the title to Casper The Poet in 2025.
